Coon's Bluff at the Salt River
This ride is in the lower Salt River Recreation area. This is a fairly short ride, about 2 1/2 hours. This is an easy trail that is mostly flat with only a couple of small hills. Wild horses are often seen on this trail. The footing is very sandy and excellent for the majority of the ride, but we will encounter some river rocks as we ride down to the river. Pack a lunch, we will be riding to and along the Salt River and taking a lunch break under some shady trees.
