Leasing information:

Leasing a horse is different than going to a riding stable and "renting" a horse for a couple of hours. When you lease a horse, you are responsible for your horse during your leased period. You must have riding experience. You are required to groom, tack up and be able to ride your horse off unassisted. Of course, if you have any questions, I will be there to help.

RATES -

$50 to lease a horse for a 2 - 4 hour guided trail ride. If you need tack, please see the options below.

SADDLE AND TACK OPTIONS:

If you do not have your own tack, I have tack available for lease. You may lease a saddle and tack set for an additional $15 per day. The seat sizes I have available are 13", 14", 15" and 16". If you need tack, make sure you let me know so I can reserve it. You will still be required to tack up the horse yourself.

PAYMENT

Payment must be received IN FULL - PRIOR to me hauling the horse for you to our designated riding trail. The reason behind this is simple, if I go to the trouble to haul your horse and you do not show up, it is a huge waste of my time. I can accept credit cards through Paypal. Payment can be sent to sherry@supergentlehorses.com through http://www.paypal.com

DEPOSITS

A 50% deposit is required to reserve your horse for an upcoming ride. To receive a refund, you must cancel within 1 week (7 days) of the planned ride.

WEIGHT limits?

Varies due to the horses I currently have available. Horses are able to comfortably carry 22% of their body weight; therefore an average 1000 LB horse can easily carry 220 lbs. My horses usually average 1000 lbs, but may range from 800 - 1300 lbs.

Rider AGE limits?

If you plan to lease a horse for you child, please keep in mind that they should be good little riders of at least a Novice level. Trails sometimes offer obstacle's and can vary in difficulty. You should not put your child on a horse if their is any question to their riding ability. All riders will need to be able to control their horse through different situations and terrain.

What HORSES are available for lease?

Most all of the horses currently listed for sale under the Super Gentle Horses for sale page may be available. In addition to these horses, I also have some of my own available.
