I am now offering horses available for day lease rides and camping trips!
TRAIL RIDES:
In locations such as:
San Tan Mountain Park - Queen Creek, AZ
Goldfield Ghost Town - Goldfield, AZ (near Apache Junction)
Salt River / Bulldog Canyon in East Mesa, AZ
Coon's Bluff at the Salt River - East Mesa, AZ
Picket Post Mountain - near Superior, AZ
Rides normally vary from 2 - 6 hours depending on location. Ride times vary depending on the time of year and weather.
Private or Group rides are available. In the cooler months, with weather permitting, we often pack lunches ride in and take a lunch break on the trail. In the summer we often take moonlight rides. A couple of the locations have restaurants if you would like to have lunch or dinner after the ride!
CAMPING TRIPS:
Camping trips - for those of you who like to camp out! Camping trips are planned May - October and are in locations such as:
Houston Mesa Horse Camp - Payson AZ
Groom Creek Horse camp near Prescott, AZ
Woods Canyon Lake about 30 miles east of Payson, AZ
Flagstaff, AZ
Happy Jack, AZ.
For the camping trips, I just supply your leased horse - you have to provide all of your own camping gear and be self contained. For those of you who like to camp out, these trips are so much fun! We often see wildlife such as deer and elk and get to ride through the beautiful forest. You are able to spend as much time with your horse as you would like!
