Sale Pending

Horses listed below as "Sale Pending" means that a perspective buyer has left a deposit to hold a horse for a short time. Most sale pending horses are waiting for a pre-purchase vet exam, or reasons may include finding a location to board the horse, transportation, etc. If you are interested in a horse that is listed as Sale Pending, watch the web site to see if the horse sold or if the deal fell through. Just because a horse was not purchased does not mean that the horse is bad, many times for different reasons the sale will not go through. Remember deposits are nonrefundable unless the horse does not pass the vet check. If the horse is found unsuitable, deposits may be applied towards another horse. For more information, please read my buyer policy.

"TRIGGER"

Cute Palomino gelding!

Trigger is a cute little Palomino gelding. He is 16 years old and about 14 hands tall. I owned this horse in 2003 and sold him to a client that needed a super gentle horse. (He was formerly known as "Spike") Trigger has been a wonderful horse for her, never any issues, always rode great. Trigger is now for sale because his owner is forced to sell due to her health issues. She has asked me to find both of her horses new homes. Trigger had not been ridden for 2 years when he came to me. With no round penning or lunging he rode great the first time. He has an excellent neck rein and really rides between the reins. Stays honest and goes wherever you point him. No vices or issues of anykind. Stands quietly to do whatever you want. I do remember really liking this horse when I owned him previously, I had even stated that he was one of my favorite horses at the time :) I have ridden this guy out around the neighborhood bareback with just a halter and he did great! He's not lazy or what I would call a dead head, but he is really gentle, responsive and just fun to ride. The only place that I can fault this horse is that he is a little head shy as I demonstate in the video. With constant attention he would probably get over it. Always easy to bridle though :)

"ALAMO DUNNY"

aka "Bailey"

2000 AQHA Dun Mare Registration #3960867

See Alamo Dunny's pedigree by clicking here!

A big, nice Line Back Dun mare. 15.3 hands, 1150 lbs. This mare is broke and has a nice handle on her. Neck reins or direct reins. Nice transitions, goes whatever speed you ask. Bailey has a big stride, picks up both leads and is nice to ride in all gaits. Goes English or Western. Nice all around horse! This horse hasn't been traded around, last owner had her for 7 years. Does not change or freshen up if she is unridden for long periods of time. I have never round penned or lunged her before riding, just step on and go and she rides just like in the video. This mare is sound and sane and has never done anything bad in anyway. I keep this mare turned out with my 2 futurity prospects and they get along wonderful. Bailey will eat out of the same feed barrel with Scooby and they never fight. A great mare, no marish behaviors. She is easy to catch, and a pleasure to be around. Great ground manners, ties, stands quietly to bathe, clip, fly spray, tack up and mount. NO vices of any kind. Any level rider could ride this mare. She is currently being ridden by kids and teenagers, the youngest girl is a beginner level rider and Bailey stays honest and quiet. No barn sour or buddy sour issues. She rides in anykind of bit, even a halter or bridleless. Very push button to lope circles on in the arena and will stop when you sit back. This horse has become one of the favorites around here, everyone wants to ride Bailey! Suitable for beginner level riders. $3800

This mare is patterned and can turn a barrel! She is bred to run and has plenty of speed. Take a look at her pedigree, she goes back to the great DASH FOR CASH, EASY JET, ROCKET WRANGLER. Always takes her leads and never goes by a barrel. The barrel run that I posted in the video was from the first time I tried Bailey on the barrels. While it's not a perfect run, it's pretty good considering it was probably the first time she had seen the pattern in years! This mare has obviously ran barrels before!

"RIVER ON FIRE"

aka "RIVER"

AQHA BUCKSKIN !

Click here to see his pedigree!

5 year old Buckskin gelding. 15.1 hands tall, 1125 lbs. This horse is gentle with no vices or bad habits. Never offered to buck or do anything bad. Very quiet and gentle. This horse still rides green. Not a mean bone in his body, just needs to go to someone experienced enough to finish him and ride him. He walks, trot and lopes circles, picks up leads. Starting to neck rein a little. He is responsive, not a beginners or novice horse; needs to go to someone that knows how to ride and give direction. River hasn't been ridden much at all in the last year and a half, so this is a 5 year old that hasn't had a lot of miles on him. Best suited for an advanced level rider.

$1500 for a limited time through June - Price WILL go up with training expenses.

Video below was taken June 23rd. This was the second time River was ridden this week, after being turned out and not ridden for MONTHS. River is back under saddle and will continue to get ridden until sold. I have about 5 days on him; each days he rides little better.
