"BlackJack"
Sold 12/2007
A super nice gelding!
Blackjack is 10 years old and 14.3 hands tall. He is a nice gentle horse that is very good looking and well broke. He has a nice stocky confirmation. He has been ridden on a trail ride out in the San Tan Mountains and did perfect! He has awesome hooves and had no problems in the rocky terrain barefoot. He is very sure footed and good in the rocks; never stumbles. He will walk up and down the steep places and willing walked through the step over gate at the park entrance. Blackjack did great in the group of horses, doesn't care if he is first or last in a group of horses. He is very calm and laid back, he didn't even care when he was asked to stop and stand still while the other horses rode off and left him. He stands quietly for just about anything you want to do. This horse is still under evaluation, but so far he seems suitable and gentle enough for a beginner level rider. I will add more info soon! $3200
"SCOOTER"
Sold
Scooter is a cute little paint gelding that is very fun to ride! He is 13.3 hands tall, and 16 years old. This little horse rides great. He is very well broke and very gentle. NO bad habits or vices. This little horse is big enough to carry a small adult or would be a great kids horse. I recommend this horse for anyone who wants a quiet pleasure / trail horse. Scooter is very quiet out on trails; he is not spooky. I have ridden Scooter all over the neighborhood and right down the sidewalk next to major streets. He has not spooked at any anything. I took Scooter out of his stall today, and he had not been ridden for 3 weeks. I saddled him up and stepped on him without round penning or longing him and we took the video I will post below. It was extremely windy today and he never took a bad step. I had many tests today such as trash blowing straight into us, tarps flapping in the wind, big dogs charge the fence, chickens, and lot's of cars and major traffic. He passed them all! Scooter will go anywhere you point him, including through water and mud. He is not barn sour or buddy sour, and goes out easily by himself. This little horse is gentle for anyone, but is responsive. He has a fast walk and will go into a trot easy with a little leg pressure. Because he is responsive, I am going to rate him as being suitable for a Novice level rider. He has excellent ground manners and stands tied perfectly quiet to bathe, groom, shoe, clip and tack up. His mane has grown out some since the above pictures and he is looking good. $2500 Sale price through this Sunday $2250
I apologize about the poor quality of the above videos. These were taken on a very, very windy day!
"PAL"
Sold
Great kids horse!
NEW - Video 6 Pal with a beginner level rider
About this video... I didn't have any help today to video Pal so I got creative. The video camera is sitting on my mailbox and I had to turn it on and off. The sound you here when we stop is a truck going over a speed bump and driving next to us. - And yes, Pal will just stand there all day if you need him to!
Pal is a cute little horse that is 14 hands tall and 8 years old. He is easy to catch and has great ground manners. He stands quietly for just about anything you want to do. Pal is very calm and quiet and is not spooky! We have ridden Pal out and around the neighborhood numerous times since he has been here and he has been perfect every time. I have ridden him right next to Val Vista Rd with major traffic going by and nothing bothered him. I have had dogs charge the fence at him, kids pass on bicycles, and have ridden him over things such as plastic bags, plywood, etc. with no issues. This little guy stays real honest and is not barn sour. He is very willing and eager to please. He goes out easily alone or with other horses. He is a neat little horse and has different speeds... a slow walk, or a fast walk, what ever is needed to keep up. Pal is very well broke and has a good neck rein. He is very easy to control and fun to ride. He is broke just right, not too responsive for an inexperienced rider. Pal is still under evaluation but I haven't found any reason why he isn't suitable for beginner level riders and kids. A great little horse with a disposition to match! $2650 Sale price through December 31st $2385
"PRINCESS"
Sold
A cute little miniature horse!
2 for the price of 1!
Princess is an adorable Paint Mini Mare that is in foal to my 31" AMHA Stallion "Bucky". Princess is due to foal in April of 2008. This little mare is 15 years old and stands only 34" tall. She is very gentle and sweet. Princess is suppose to ride and drive; I drove her the day I purchased her and she drove just fine. She is also suppose to be broke to ride, but I have had her as a pet only and have never seen her ridden. If you have never had a miniature horse before, they are great pets! They are very inexpensive to feed and maintain and are a lot of fun! She is up to date on deworming, vaccinations through the summer, and having her hooves trimmed. She gets along with other horses well. To a good home only $1200 Sale price through Dec 31st $1080!
"CHAMP"
Sold
A super gentle palomino gelding! - I highly recommend this horse!
Champ is 7 years old and 14.3 hands tall. He has great ground manners and stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, clip, and tack up. He is a friendly horse and is easy to catch. We took Champ on our trail ride in the San Tans and he did great. He is sure footed, good in the rocks and rough terrain. This horse has been really riding nice and quiet. He has a smooth little lope and picks up both leads. He will go out easily on trail rides around the neighborhood alone or with other horses. He is not spooky at all and has passed all the neighborhood tests. I have even ridden him right down Val Vista Rd next to Major traffic and nothing bothered him. I have asked Champ to step over things such as plastic and plywood and he does so with no problem. I have asked Champ to step over an empty 5 gallon water jug which he accidentally kicked and he never flinched. This is a very gentle horse, really calm and quiet for his age. Champ is already an excellent trail horse, and would be an excellent gymkhana and team penning prospect. I had Katie (the little girl in the photos) come over and ride 4 horses today, and Champ was her favorite! He is gentle enough for a beginner level rider but is responsive and will move forward. I would suggest an advanced beginner level (or better) rider. $3200 Sale price through Dec 31st $2880!
"VEGAS"
Sold
Wow, take a look at Vegas! He's as gentle as he is pretty!
Black gelding 9 years old, and 15.2 1/2 hands tall. This is as nice of a horse as I have ever had. He's really well broke and really gentle. Vegas is friendly and easy to catch. He stands quietly for anything you want to do, he will even ground tie and not walk off. He ties well, doesn't pull back, stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, tack up and mount. Stands for clipping without any fussing. He has great ground manners. Loads and unloads easily, and hauls great. Hot Rod has been perfect since he's been here and has never done anything wrong. You can step on this horse fresh on a cold windy day and go ride him out around the neighborhood by himself', or with other horses. He is not spooky at all. I have also ridden Vegas out in the San Tan Mountains and he was perfect. He is sure footed and good in the rocks. He will lead the group or ride in the back of the pack; doesn't matter to him where he's at in the group. He easily walked through the step through at the park entrance, and will walk up and down the hills and not try to run up or down them. He's not barn sour or buddy sour. I enjoy riding Vegas as much as any horse I have ever been on because he is very responsive and willing. This horse has a soft mouth and it just takes very light cues to make him do whatever you want; really has power steering. He's never been grouchy or resentful; always very eager to please. This horse is ranch broke and has tons of ranch roping and cattle experience. I like this horse because he's gentle enough for the whole family to ride, but yet is responsive and isn't a dead head. Trail ride Vegas, rope, team pen, or go gaming, he is broke enough to do it all. A super nice horse that I would highly recommend! $6500
"BACARDI"
Sold
Sorrel & White Paint gelding
Bacardi is just under 15.2 hands tall and 6 years old. He is a very easy going horse with a great disposition. Bacardi has a bit of a goof ball personality and is a quite a character! He is well broke and rides very quiet both in the arena and out on trails. He is very laid back and is not spooky. He is not barn sour or buddy sour. He stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, clip, and tack up. - OK, so he might be goofing around with his lead rope, or finding something to get in to, but he's not scared of anything :) He has nice gaits and is just right - not too fast or too slow. Bacardi just does whatever you ask him to do and is very willing. He will neck rein or direct rein and will go English or Western. Even though Bacardi is a young age, he has never done anything bad or dangerous. I have ridden this horse out around the neighborhood many times, including on a very windy day. I have had many great neighborhood "spook" tests happen such as having German Shepherds charge the fence at us, a flock of Dove fly up, and chickens run out from under a pomegranate bush right under us. Bacardi never even flinched, and I have not seen him spook at anything. This is a nice quiet horse that is the kind you can relax and enjoying riding out on trails. Bacardi would be a great flag horse or rodeo queen prospect. You can carry flags on him, with no issues! I think Bacardi is gentle enough for any level rider, but he has forward motion and will speed up if you tightleg him and squeeze with your heels. Bacardi was very lazy with a less experienced and timid rider and wouldn't hardly go. (He is not lazy for me at all, he was just smart) He is going to be best suited for a confident Novice level rider. He rides perfect for me every time. I really like this horse, he rides better each and every day. Bacardi takes his leads, he's soft in the bridle and will break at the poll. This horse has an excellent stop on him and will drop his head and back up. A real nice horse. $3200

Doesn't care if he is first or last in a group of horses and was sure footed and good in the rocks. This little horse has great hooves and could be left barefoot. He was ridden in the San Tans barefoot and was not ouchy on the rocks. Cisco is a nice young horse that is well broke and athletic. Cisco is a great all around horse that you could do just about anything on. He has no bad habits or vices. Cisco is a responsive horse that is not lazy, not a dead head, and has lot's forward motion. A great little all around horse!
A cute little Palomino gelding! Sunny "D" is 7 years old and 13.3 hands tall. He has a unique coat pattern with dark spots. This little horse is really broke and responsive. Sunny D was ridden by Emily on our trail ride in the San Tans and was perfect! This little horse is barefoot and has excellent hooves. He had no problems out in the San Tans without shoes and was not ouchy in the rocks. You will love his gaits; he has a super smooth little lope that is very comfortable to ride! Sunny D came off of a ranch in Texas and has been there and done that. He has tons of ranch experience and is really well broke. He will turn on a dime and has a great stop. He picks up both leads. Everyone that has ridden this horse has bragged about how fun he is to ride, or that he is their favorite horse here! Awesome gymkhana or gaming prospect; already an excellent trail horse. Sunny is so well trained, he needs a rider with soft hands. Not a dead head, a great little horse for a lady or kid that is a good Novice or better level rider; may be too responsive for a beginner level rider. $2500 Sunny D is still under evaluation.

Copper seems to be the favorite! He may not be the prettiest horse here, but he seems to be the favorite to ride! He is very well broke and has smooth gaits. He is a very willing little horse, he will lope all day long for the kids and never try to cheat them or get barn sour. He is very quiet to ride and is athletic enough to do just about anything on. Not a dead head, he is responsive and has lot's of forward motion. Copper is just one of those good old honest ranch broke horses that try to please. 15 years old, 14 hands. "TIGER"
Sold
A great confidence builder or kids first horse!
Video of Tiger being ridden by a complete beginner level rider
Tiger is a super gentle Palomino gelding! He is 12 years old and 13.2 hands. He is very well broke, has a good neck rein and is easy to ride. He has no bad habits and stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, tack up and clip. He is a very sweet horse with good ground manners. Very friendly, easy to catch, and not head shy. He rides great in the arena and out on trails. He is calm and quiet, not spooky. This horse is as gentle as any horse I have ever seen - but still keeps up out on trail rides with big horses. He has a fast walk, and nice slow lope. Tiger has been on a few trail rides in the San Tans with us. One of the girls who rode Tiger on a ride was a friend who had NEVER ridden a horse before. She had some anxieties about being around horses, let alone riding one. I assured her Tiger was a good horse for her to ride and after spending a couple of minutes with her showing her how to make a horse go, stop, and turn, we were off. Tiger was the best confidence builder ever, he was perfect! Tiger was also caught in the thunder and rain storm on a San Tan ride and stayed completely calm, quiet, and gentle. - Even with the thunder cracking around us! I have known this horse for over a year, and will highly recommend him. I sold Tiger last year to a client who's kids have since lost interest in riding. This little horse does not freshen up. Tiger came to me last week fat and fresh and being grained and rode just as gentle as he ever did. This little horse also has great hooves and could be left barefoot. I have ridden him in the San Tans barefoot with no problems. This is the kind of horse that you can not ride for a couple of weeks, get him out of the barn and throw the kids on him - with no round penning or lunging first. He stays honest and is not barn sour and doesn't try to cheat the kids. I have put complete beginners on Tiger, in the arena and out on trails with no problems. Tiger is a ranch horse and has no problem carrying adults as well. Loads/unloads in my stock trailer easily. He is suitable for kids or beginner level riders. $3500
"ACE"
Sold
A cute little Sorrel gelding!
Ace is 14.2 hands tall, and 7 years old. He is a real gentle little horse that is very well broke and has smooth gaits. He stands quietly to just about anything you want and is very well mannered. I really like this little horse because he is slow and steady and a bit on the lazy side with the kids; but put a more confident rider on him and he will wake up and can go! I have worked him on the barrels a couple of times and he is loping the pattern. He is smart and will be an awesome gaming horse. As quiet as this horse seems, I was surprised the first time I penned cattle on him! I thought he was too laid back to be very athletic, but he will really watch a cow, was very handy, and worked great! Ace went on our Camping trip at Groom Creek, he stood tied quietly on his picket line and was excellent on the trails. He is sure footed and good in the rocks. Doesn't care if he is first or last in a group. He picks his way through the steep rocky placed with no problems. He will pack saddle bags, and has a nice slow smooth little trot that you can sit. Ace has also been ridden around the neighborhood here at the house by myself and beginner level riders. He is not barn sour or buddy sour and rides honest. This is the kind of horse that is going to be slow and easy with a beginner or timid rider, but put spurs on a more confident rider and get after him and he will run the barrels, team pen or whatever you want. He is a very versatile horse. He is not spooky at all and is suitable for beginner level riders. $2800

Chance is 14.3 hands tall and 14 years old. This horse is rock solid and suitable for beginner level riders! Chance is a real sweet horse that stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, clip, and tack up. He's not a total dead head either, he will walk out at a nice pace. Chance is an excellent horse to take on camping trips and trail rides, he stands quiet tied to a picket line. He loads and unloads easily in my stock trailer and is a sweet horse. He gets along with other horses very well and is not mean. This horse was very underweight when he came off of the ranch and has a lot of marks on him from the other horses picking on him. Chance is a diamond in the rough and is going to look so much better than he does now. This horse has the structure and a wide chest and will look awesome when he gets fat. He is suitable for any level rider, and is not spooky out on trail rides. He is well broke and has a great disposition. $3200

Simon in just 8 years old, but is super gentle! He is 14.1 hands tall and is very well broke. This horse is friendly, easy to catch and has great ground manners. He is not barn sour or buddy sour and will easily go out on trails alone or with other horses. In the arena Simon is very fun to ride! He is very well broke and responsive and has a lot of forward motion. He would make an excellent gymkhana or gaming prospect. Simon is a quick learner and is very smart; in just a couple of days he is starting to lope the barrel pattern. I would like to see Simon go to a novice or better level rider, he may be too responsive for a beginner level rider. Simon is a super gentle horse, that is a pleasure to be around. $2600
"JACKPOT"
Sold
I highly recommend this horse!
Jackpot is a super nice Sorrel gelding that is 7 years old, and 15.2 hands tall. This horse is super gentle to be around and ride. I have put Jackpot through numerous tests and he has passed them all. He is not spooky. He stands quietly to bathe, groom, clip, shoe, tack up, and mount. He ties well and is so calm and laid back he will just stand there ground tied. Jackpot may be one of the quickest learning horses that I have even ridden; and he is very eager to please. He is well broke with a good neck rein and is soft in the bridle. He drops his head and gives to the bit. Jackpot is the kind of calm, quiet horse you can put a beginner on, but ask him to work and he will. I see tons of potential in the horse; he's the kind that I would would keep for myself. This horse has some athletic ability and is already loping the barrel pattern nicely within just a few days. He is smooth to ride and has nice gaits. He has a very light neck rein and is responsive. He will also direct rein if you prefer to ride with 2 hands. He has had a lot of ranch roping experience. We have been roping the lead steer on him and he will pin his ears and watch a cow. I have hauled Jackpot with me to large events such as the Fall Classic Barrel Race at Empty Acres, and he was completely quiet around all of the commotion. This horse is not barn sour or buddy sour and will also go out easily on trail rides by himself. I have ridden him around bareback with just a halter with no problems. He loads/unloads easily into my stock trailer. I took Jackpot up North with us on our camping trip at the Groom Creek Horse Camp in Prescott last weekend. Jackpot was excellent, he stood tied quietly on his picket line, and was excellent on the trails. Jackpot doesn't care if he is first or last in a group of riders, he is content anywhere that you ride him. We rode on Saturday for about 5 hours through all kinds of terrain. Jackpot is very sure footed and good in the rocks. We rode through some steep, rocky places with big drop off's, step ups, and had to cross downed logs. Jackpot stayed real quiet through everything and will step over logs and not "jump" them. Jackpot is a kind horse with a great disposition and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He is very kind and gets along with other horses very well. This horse is suitable for an advanced beginner level rider. Jackpot is gentle for any level rider, but this horse isn't a dead head; he's responsive, very easy to ride, and easily controlled with very light cues. He has an excellent disposition, and no vices.*** This horse has been started on the barrels and roping and is showing exceptional talent. His price is going up as training increases. I will be hauling this horse to all the upcoming shows I attend. Update! We have carried Flags on Jackpot with no problems! He is going to Parker and will be used as a Rodeo Queen horse. Sold $5000

I love this horse and will highly recommend him!
Max is only 6 years old and has zero spook factor! This horse is rock solid to ride around the neighborhood, dogs, traffic, bicycles, you name it he's passed all the tests. Max drops his head, lines out and walks out nice and fast. He is very well broke and has a good neck rein. I totally trust this horse spite his young age. Take a look at the video of Max and the trash bag, and rain slicker. This video was unrehearsed, and he was not desensitized in advance. Max has no bad habits or vices. He stands quietly to bathe (even wash his face), groom, clip, shoe, and tack up. He loads easily in my trailer and hauls great. Max is wonderful around the neighborhood and out on mountain / desert type terrain. He is sure footed and good in the rocks. He will step over obstacles like logs and step through gates and not jump. Max does not care if he is first or last in a large group of horses, and will also go out easily by himself. He is not barn or buddy sour, and rides honest. This horse is completely gentle for any level rider, but is also not a dead head. Max is responsive and will move out into a trot or lope willingly. This horse has a little athletic ability therefore making him a great all around horse that you can do just about anything on - trail, team pen, rope, timed events, you name it! This is a super nice, calm quiet horse, that is well broke. He picks up his leads and will do flying lead changes. He drops his head and responds nicely to the bit, and backs up well. Hershey is one of my favorites, he's very honest and is not barn sour or buddy sour at all. He rides great for kids, he has such a good neck rein he is easy for them to steer. This horse is a great trail horse and has enough ability to make a gaming horse / gymkhana horse; he's already a nice team penning horse and will watch a cow. "ROXY"
Sold 9/2007
A super gentle mare!
Chestnut Mare - 14.1 hands tall and is 10 years old. This mare has a great confirmation and a stocky build. She is a friendly horse and likes people. She is easy to catch. She has great ground manners and stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, tack up, clip and mount. - You couldn't ask for a horse to be any nicer to be around than Roxy is. She is an excellent trail horse; she walks out fast and will go wherever you point her. She does great out on trail rides around the neighborhood and is not spooky. She has no problem going out by herself. We took Roxy on our camping trip up North and she did great. She is the kind of horse that likes to lead at the beginning of the ride, but after a few minutes you can ride her anywhere in the group. We have also ridden Roxy out on many trail rides around the neighborhood, even at night. Roxy has been ridden around traffic and up to the convenience stores on the corner with no problems, and no spooking. This mare get's along with other horses great, and does not act mareish at all. I have never seen this mares behavior change at all when she comes in season; and her heat cycles are almost unnoticeable. Roxy is gentle for anyone, but I would prefer to see her go to someone who can keep her pointed in the right direction. $2500
"CHIP"
Sold 9/2007
A great confidence builder!
Chip is a sweet little horse! He is 14.3 hands tall and 13 years old. This is a real gentle horse that anyone can ride. Chip stands quietly to bathe, groom, clip, tack up and mount. He rides great in the arena and out on trails. He is a great confidence builder! He has a nice walk, a smooth trot that you can sit, and a nice slow lope. Chip is a bit on the lazy side, he would prefer to walk over anything faster, but will speed up if you ask him to. He is well broke and has a nice neck rein. I have ridden him bareback with halter at a walk and trot and could easily control him. He has been very quiet out on trail rides around the neighborhood and has not spooked at anything. This horse has a great disposition and is very willing. I have had Chip here for a couple of months, he was very underweight when he arrived off of the ranch. He is the bottom of the pecking order and mean/dominate horses will push him away from his hay and not let him eat enough. He had a lot of bite marks all over his rump and back from the other horses biting him. He has however gained weight very quickly now that he has been stalled by himself. He still has a lot of scratches on on his rump that you can see, but the hair is starting to grow back in and they should all disappear within the next few weeks. He does get a long with other horses very well and is very sweet. Suitable for beginner level riders. This is a good one. $3000

"TINY TIM"
Sold 9/2007
What a cute little guy!
Tiny Tim is 13.2 hands and 15 years old. He's a bit on the lazy side, but is very, very, gentle and is a sweet little horse. We took Tiny Tim on our camping trip up North and he did great! Tim may be small but he has no problems carrying adult riders. Tim was very sure footed and good in the rocks, especially considering he was barefoot. This little horse could be easily left barefoot, he has excellent hooves. Tiny Tim walked out fast and kept up with all of the big horses. He had no problem crossing logs and rocky areas and watches where he steps. This horse is best suited for a pleasure horse, he doesn't really have much desire to do anything fast. He's a little on the slow side when it comes to arena riding, but stepped out nicely on our trail rides with a large group. Tim doesn't care if he is first or last, and is a sweet little horse. $1950
"ROSIE"
Sold 9/2007
A cute little Strawberry Roan Mare!
Rosie is very, very gentle. She is 10 years old, and 14 hands tall. She is very calm, quiet and easy going. She is easy to catch, even in a large area, and stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, clip, and tack up. She loaded easily into my stock trailer and a small 2 horse trailer. I have had beginner level riders ride Rosie with no problems, she even rode great for a 4 year old child! Rosie is very mellow and a bit on the slow side. She has a very nice little jog trot that is very smooth and comfortable to ride. I would suggest Rosie as a pleasure horse over a performance horse since she is so laid back and doesn't really have the desire to do much of anything fast. Rosie is the kind of horse the kids ride around bareback with a halter, with piece of mind. Rosie was excellent on our camping trip up North! She was ridden numerous times by a teen age girl who is a beginner level rider. I let Rosie loose to graze and she stayed around camp and didn't take off. She was also easy to catch. Rosie has a good disposition. I was told that Rosie may be in foal and should have a beautiful little foal next year. Suitable for beginner level riders. $2400

What a cutie!
Miles is a Bay & White paint gelding that is 7 years old and 14.2 hands tall. He is very sweet, friendly and nice to be around. Miles is very, very gentle and easy going. He stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, and tack up. I highly recommend Miles for a trail riding horse, he will go where ever you point him. I have ridden Miles all over the neighborhood, across major streets and up to the convenience stores with no problems - in the daylight and at night. I have not had him spook at anything. I have let Miles stand and not be ridden for a couple of weeks at a time and he does not freshen up. I have never longed him or round penned him before riding; just step on and go. He is not mean and gets along with other horses well. Miles is gentle for any level rider, he's not spooky and has never done anything bad. I would however suggest him to go to someone who knows the basics because he will fade to the gate a little when you lope circles on him in the arena. Miles is just right, not too lazy and isn't a total dead head; he moves out nicely. $2850

Gunnar is 13 years old and 14.3 hands tall. He has a great confirmation and a nice muscular hip. Gunnar is truly super gentle and stands quietly to bathe, groom, clip, tack up, mount, and shoe. He is very laid back and has great ground manners. He is friendly and easy to catch, even when he is turned out in a big area. Gunnar is one of those good old honest horses that is hard to find. He is excellent on trails and will go out by himself with no problems or with a group of horses. He rides very honest and is not barn or buddy sour. He is very well broke, has a very light neck rein and is very easy to control. Gunnar will side pass a little and is easy to open/close gates on. He has had years of cattle and ranch roping experience. He is very cowy and will track / follow cattle on his own. He has some athletic ability and will take his leads and turn on a dime. Gunnar is an excellent trail horse and a great gaming horse. I would highly recommend him to someone wanting to team penning or heel horse. He has no vices. 13 years old, 14.2 hands. JJ is a sweet little horse that has been riding great. He stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, clip, tack up and mount. He is well broke, has a good neck rein, and is easy to ride. JJ is very quiet and is not spooky. We have ridden him down the neighborhood street and around town and he hasn't spooked or flinched at anything. I have recently let JJ stand for close to a month without being ridden. He does not freshen up. I rode him this morning without round penning him or longing him first and he was the same old quiet horse as he was before. This is a real nice little horse that would make anyone a great little pleasure horse. JJ is suitable for beginner level riders. He will walk out nice and isn't too pokey, but has a nice little slow trot and lope. He is better suited as a pleasure horse than performance because he is a bit on the lazy side and prefers slow gaits over anything fast. He is the kind of horse that would be a good confidence builder because he's not going to go too fast. $2500

"BROOKS"
Sold
A super sweet Pony!
Brooks is an awesome leadline pony/ miniature horse and is very child safe for grooming. She is very sweet and calm and can be handled, saddled, and led by any child. She is an older mare, in her late teens but that just makes her all that much more gentle and kid experienced. Brooks needs to go to a special home where she will be well taken care of. Brooks has had some health issues in the past, one of which was a cataract that has caused her to loose vision in her right eye. Brooks has a couple of requirements such as being fed grass hay only (no pasture) and a small bit of miniature horse feed for vitamins. Brooks had complications during her last pregnancy and is being sold as a pet only, NOT as a broodmare. She is healthy and was just vet checked and is up to date on all vaccinations and health care. Brooks is a sweet little pony that just needs a child to love her :) To an approved home only $500 OR BEST OFFER!
"SHORTY"
Sold
A gorgeous Palomino gelding!
What a cute little horse! Shorty is 9 years old, and is 14 Hands tall. A very unique color, in all my years I do not think I have seen a Palomino this dark and golden of a color. Shorty is friendly and has good ground manners. He stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, and tack up, This little horse is gaited; he has normal gaits, plus will do a gaited "running walk". Very fun to ride, good neck rein, and has a real slow, smooth lope. This horse is very laid back and easy going, rides real quiet in the arena and out on trail rides. I have let beginner level riders ride Shorty in the arena with no problems. - However, Shorty has an interest in mares when they come in season, he is proud cut. I have turned Shorty out with my other geldings and he gets along with them just fine as long as there is no mare in season. This horse is gentle enough for kids or beginners and I have let beginners ride him in the arena with other horses. Even though this horse is very gentle, I will not recommend this horse as a kids or beginner horse because he needs to be handled and ridden by someone who has enough common sense to not let him go over and start romancing the girls :) I would love to see him go to a home where there are no mares, and him being proud cut would not be a problem. I do have mares on my property now, Shorty does just fine here as long as he is not stalled next to one of them. He has always been well mannered while we are riding. Shorty has lots of ranch and cattle experience and will really watch a cow. He is started roping the lead steer and works great. Ready to start heeling out the box. $3000
"SARGE"
Sold
A super gentle bay gelding!
Sarge is 13 years old and 15 hands tall. He is very quiet and easy going. He is friendly, has good ground manners and stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, clip, and tack up. Sarge is very quiet out on trail rides around the neighborhood, he has not spooked at anything. He's been put through many of the neighborhood spook tests and passed them all :) He is not barn sour, and will go out easily by himself or with a group of horses. We took Sarge on our camping trip up North and he was excellent! He was very sure footed and good in the rocks and rough terrain. Sarge is a strong horse and had no problem carrying a large man on a long ride that consisted of some steep rocky hills and rough country. He stood tied quietly on a picket line and was a pleasure to be around on our trip. He wasn't spooked by the loud thunder during the thunderstorms that we encountered. I let Sarge loose to graze, he was easy to catch and stayed around camp and didn't take off. Sarge also rides great in the arena, he is well broke and very easy to control. He does arena exercises nicely. He is a ranch horse, has a lot of cattle and ranch roping experience. He is nice to sort cattle on and team pen. This horse is suitable for beginner to novice level riders. I have had riders as young as 6 years old ride Sarge and he was perfectly behaved. He's the kind of nice, quiet, honest horse that you can put anyone on. I highly recommend this horse to anyone who wants a super gentle horse, he's a good one! $3000
"BUDDY"
Sold
He's fun to ride!
Buddy is a Bay gelding that is 13 years old and is 15 hands tall. This horse is well mannered and very well broke. Buddy is a true ranch broke gelding that has lots of cattle and trail riding experience. We took Buddy up North on our camping trip with the horses and Buddy was excellent! He doesn't care if he is first or last in a large group of horses and was very well behaved on all of the rides. He stands quietly to bathe, groom, clip, shoe, and tack up. Buddy is one of my favorite horses to ride. He has a light neck rein, making him easy to control. He is not barn sour or buddy sour and goes wherever you point him. He has smooth gaits. Buddy is a little distrusting of new people when you first approach him, but it only took me about 1 day to gain his trust. I think this is a really nice horse that is very smart and is very eager to please. He is the kind of horse that will do just about anything for his owner, and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. This horse does a few neat things such as, opens his mouth for the bit as soon as you get the bit close, and he also will pick up his feet and just hand them to you when you start to reach for them. Buddy rides great in the arena as well as out on trails. He is not spooky. We have ridden Buddy up to Denny's Restaurant at night and he did not spook at any of the city stuff. All this guy needs is someone who will spend some time petting, brushing and earning his trust; other than that he rides great :) $3000
"WRANGLER"
Sold
Super nice horse!
Sorrel gelding 11 years old, 15 hands tall, and a nice stocky confirmation. Wrangler is one of those good old honest ranch broke geldings that will go anywhere you point him. He is one of my favorite horses to ride. He is very well broke, and has a light neck rein"power steering". Wrangler is not lazy, he will walk out nice and move into a trot or lope fairly easy if asked. He is excellent on trails, he is not barn sour or buddy sour at all, and will go out easily by himself. He has not spooked at anything around the neighborhood including barking dogs that charged the fence, and kids running a screaming playing tag in the irrigation water. The kids actually ran straight for us and dived in the water right by us making a huge splash, it didn't bother Wrangler at all. This horse is very gentle and calm and quiet. His ground manners are excellent and he stands nice and quiet to bathe, groom, and tack up. Wrangler is the kind of horse that you can just drop the reins or his lead rope and he will just stand there patiently and not walk off. I would highly recommend this horse to just about any level rider for any discipline. He's already a rock solid trail horse that anyone level rider can ride, and has enough athletic ability to still do some performance events. Wrangler was excellent on our trip up North! He stood quietly when tied on his picket line and was excellent on trails. Wrangler was mainly ridden by Chelsey who is an advanced beginner level rider and is 14 years old. Wrangler doesn't care if he is first or last in a large group. He has a great disposition. He's a good one :) $3200
"SPROCKET"
Sold
Rock solid gray gelding!
Here's one gentle enough that Mom, Dad, the Kids and even the Grandparents can ride!
Sprocket is 9 years old, 15 hands, and is really stout. This horse has a nice wide frame and a big hip. He is friendly and is easy to catch. He stands perfectly quiet to bathe, groom, shoe, tack up and mount. This horse has great ground manners and is a pleasure to be around. Sprocket is a very calm and quiet horse who is sure and steady out on trails. This horse is not at all spooky and I trust him very much. The first time this horse was ridden off my property on a trail ride, I jumped on him bareback and rode him all over, by myself. I had many experiences happen while riding him bareback that would have spooked many horses, and he just stayed perfectly quiet. I rode Sprocket across the railroad tracks, crossed a bridge, had a dump truck pass me that made loud noises over a bumpy road just as it went by us, and had 2 large German Shepherds charge the fence at us. He also was not bothered by any of the junk at the end of the block, including a noisy tin roof that was flapping in the wind. I had to dismount Sprocket and drop the reins on him while out on this ride to help my dog get back out of the irrigation canal he decided to take a swim in :( Sprocket just stood there patiently while I helped Rascal out, and also stood still while I struggled to find a place high enough to get back on (since I was bareback). Besides being a rock solid trail horse, Sprocket has lots of ranch roping and cattle experience. He is a pleasure to ride and sort cattle on. He is well broke, has a good handle and will side pass. This horse rides real honest and is not barn sour. He is very patient and is suitable for beginner level riders. $3750
Attention! I have not had time to take new photos of Dusty yet! These photo's are from last year. His mane has grown out long since these photo's :)

Sold
A Cute Palomino Gelding!
Dusty is 12 years old, 15 hands and is gentle for anyone. Dusty has great ground manners, he is friendly, and nice to be around. He stands quietly to groom, bathe, clip, shoe, and tack up. He is very calm, quiet, and easy going. He is well broke, has a good neck rein, picks up his leads, and goes wherever you point him. He has an excellent stop and backs up nicely. This horse is an excellent choice for arena work, he is handy and very easy to ride. He is not barn or buddy sour, and rides great in the arena or out on trails. He is a real sweet horse with a good disposition and personality. He has brand new shoes, was just dewormed and vaccinated. Not a total dead head, but is suitable for Beginner level riders. I have known this horse for over a year, I sold him to a family that have now lost interest in riding and he has not been getting ridden. I was very pleased to see that Dusty still rode just as gentle as ever, even after not being ridden for a long period of time. $3200
"DALLAS"
Sold 7/2007
This horse is super quiet, and really laid back!
Grulla gelding, 8 years old, 14.1 hands. Dallas is friendly, easy to catch and has excellent ground manners. He stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, clip and tack up. This horse is as gentle as they get. Dallas is really laid back, and on the lazy side, so I think he would be best with a confident rider that will give firm cues. Dallas, will trot, lope and really sit down and stop for a confident rider. - He is smart though and won't go fast for a timid or less experienced rider. Jess has started heeling on this horse and Dallas is working excellent roping the lead steer and out of the box. He is quiet enough and gentle enough for anyone to ride. This horse has been ridden out around the neighborhood by beginner level riders, and even up to am/pm. He is really quiet out on trails. Dallas is now loping circles in the arena nicely, he picks up his leads and really rides between the reins. Everyone that has been riding this horse speaks very highly of him and really likes him. - I have even had friends say he is there favorite horse here. $2350

Sold 7/2007
Awesome 4H or gymkhana prospect!
Raven is 14.3 hands and is 13 years old. He is a very gentle little horse that stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, clip, and tack up. This horse is very well broke, and very responsive. - He's the kind of horse that I really enjoy to ride because it takes light cues to get him to respond. Raven has a very light neck rein, picks up both leads and is fun to ride. I think Raven would make a great little gaming horse, such as a 4H horse, gymkhana, or team penning horse. Raven is also good on trails, and has not spooked at anything. He has a nice fast walk, and will go out willingly by himself. He rides honest and is not barn sour. Raven is gentle for anyone, and is suitable for beginner level riders. I have let 2 of my friends who are trainers/riding instructors ride Raven (One is Natalie, the other is Angel who is the riding instructor at Eagle Aires) and both have made the point of going out of their way to tell me how much they like riding Raven with a smile on their face! $2500

"WYATT"
Sold 7/20/2007
Grulla gelding 9 years old, 14.2 hands. Many of you who have attended my trail rides may recognize Wyatt! Wyatt was owned by my very good friend, Cameron for over the last year. He's been on many of the rides, ridden by his son Wade who is 13 years old. Wade was a beginner level rider, but over the last year has advanced to a novice level rider. Wyatt has always been perfectly behaved on all of our big trail rides and just drops his head and rides really quiet. Wade has also has used Wyatt for the kids goat tying event out at East Side, and Wyatt has always been perfect. This little horse is very well broke and is really responsive. He is not a lazy horse and will move out easily into faster gaits. Wyatt is also very cowy and has had a lot of cattle experience. He is an excellent to sort cattle on and team pen. I think out on the trail just about any level rider could easily ride Wyatt, but he is very responsive in the arena so I think he would be best suited for someone who is at least a novice level rider. Unfortunately financial difficulties force the sale of Wyatt. He is priced very reasonable for a quick sale at $1750.
"DUNN"
Sold 7/9/2007
An adorable miniature horse!
Click here for a video! - short version
Click here for video - longer version!
Dunn is a 10 year old Buckskin / Dun gelding and is 32 1/2" tall. He rides, leads, jumps in hand or with a competent tiny rider. He drives like a pro, and has even been to a gymkhana with little Katie on board. He can be fully handled by any child, including his feet, he clips, saddles, and harnesses up very easily. He is quiet around traffic , and has done kids parties. Dunn has been to a birthday party for a five year old child. There were kids ages from toddlers to teens, and tons of adults. When Dunn arrived at the party in the back yard, all the kids smothered him. He was a perfect gentleman, even with an 8 week old puppy. There were kids in the pool, a piñata, etc. and nothing phased him. Later he was hooked up to the cart and gave everyone rides up and down the street. Cars and trucks were passing, and dogs were barking and he was still a total gem. I would, and have, trusted him with any child. He is about perfect. He is a little studdy but isn't mean with other horses, just squeely. He is fine with being turned out with full sized horses. Dunn has been on a Super Gentle Horses trail ride with and he did great ponying. He was even turned loose at one point and he followed along like a dog. He would be great for kids or an adult that wants to drive. Already a wonderful lead line pony. He has big, solid feet, and has never had a off day in the last three and 1/2 years that I have known him. We do have 1 set of tack including a 10" pony saddle pictured above on Dunn that will go the first person who purchases one of these two mini's. Offered to an excellent home only. $2500
(These photo's have been taken over the last 3 years, the top center photo of Katie riding Dunn is most recent and was taken 5/24/2007.)

Sold
2 for 1 package!
Breezy is 8 years old and 14.1 hands tall. She is Sorrel color with a flaxen mane and tail. Breezy had an easy delivery and had a cute little filly "Dixie" born on the morning of May 19th! We have just began riding Breezy again, taking it easy on her at a walk and slow trot. Breezy is a truly super gentle mare that is very easy going and laid back. She is a good mother, but is very friendly to people and has great ground manners. She has no problems letting people and kids interact with her foal. Dixie was imprinted within an hour of birth and will let you touch it anywhere, pick up all of feet, etc. This is a very friendly little filly that loves to follow people around. Both Breezy and Dixie have a sweet, kind disposition. Breezy would make someone a better pleasure horse than performance, she just knows the basics and is really laid back, a bit on the lazy side. I have never seen Breezy spook at anything, she's really got a calm demeanor about her. She stands quietly to bathe, groom and tack up. $2600

"YOU BET I'M EASY" - aka "MEAGAN"
Sold
7 year old Chestnut mare - 15.2 hands
I have personally known this mare for 3 years. Since this mare was 4 years old she has been ridden on numerous Super Gentle Horses trail rides and camping trips throughout the San Tan Mountains, Bulldog Canyon, Mogollon Rim, Usery Mountain Park, and Goldfield Ghost Town. She always has been perfectly behaved on all these trail rides, she doesn't care if she is first or last in a large group. She is sure footed and does well in rough terrain. She has been tied on a picket line on the camping trips with no problems. I have seen her ridden bareback on long rides last summer during one of our camping trips. This is the kind of horse that you can not ride for 3 months, and tack her up or haul her out to a trail ride and she is still just as gentle. She has never offered to buck or rear and is not spooky. I have seen this mare ridden through a thunderstorm and was not spooked by the loud thunder. Meagan is a very friendly horse and is easy to catch, stands quietly to bathe, groom, clip, tack up, and shoe. She loads easily and has been hauled the last 3 years in a 3 horse slant trailer. I see a lot of potential in this mare. She has had lots of professional training and is very well broke. She has nice gaits and can be ridden English or Western. Meagan is responsive and has a good neck rein. She picks up her leads easily, will side pass, and lopes nice slow circles in the arena. She has great brakes and will slide to a stop. She is just started on barrels and is loping the pattern nicely. This mare is an excellent age, is athletic, and has her whole life ahead of her to do just about anything you want. She is sound and healthy and up to date on shoeing, deworming, and vaccinations. Suitable for an advanced beginner - novice level rider. $4200
"TIGER"
Sold
A good looking Bay gelding!
Tiger is 6 years old and 14.3 hands tall. Don't be scared off by this horses young age, he is very quiet and gentle! I have spent extra time evaluating this horse because he is a bit young, but he just never does anything wrong. We have ridden Tiger out on many trail rides including up to Denny's on Val Vista & Warner Rd late one night! The girls (advanced beginner level riders) have been riding Tiger everyday this week since school's out, and their trail rides usually include riding up to am pm for a soda. Tiger is not spooky and stays very calm and quiet. He rides good in the arena and has nice gaits. He is ranch broke and has a lot of cattle experience. We have roped the lead steer on him and sorted and penned cattle, he will watch a cow. He is well broke and has a good disposition. Great ground manners, friendly, stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, tack up and mount. This is a really neat horse that has been started right, he's a great age and will last many years to come. $2850

He stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, clip, and tack up. He has good quiet ground manners and is not jumpy to be around. Awesome trail or all around using horse!

Hammer will go out easily on trail rides by himself or with other horses. He has a nice fast walk and is not lazy; has some get up and go if you ask him for it. He is very quiet on trails and has not been spooky at any of the city stuff, barking dogs, etc. The girls have been riding the horses all over town, even to am pm and Hammer is great! I enjoy riding this horse in the arena and out on trails. He has had a lot of cattle / ranch experience, would make a nice team penning or rope horse. Hammer has a good stop, and backs up well, will side pass a little to open a gate. He is mainly left leaded, but will pick up his right lead with a couple of try's. I am unsure of this horses exact age, he is smooth mouth and looks to be 16-20 years old. You are more than welcome to have a vet estimate his age if you would like. He is in very good shape, has clean legs and does not look like an aged horse. Shows no signs of arthritis, ring bone, etc. He moves easy and is 100% sound. This horse is suitable for an advanced beginner rider. $2000
The photos above were taken 5/24/2007 of Liz who is 15 years old and a beginner level rider, sorting cattle! The top right photo was taken 5/25/2007 the girls think it's fun to ride the horses down to am pm and get soda's!
"Z- MAN"
Sold
An exceptionally nice Paint gelding!
A horse of a different color! "Z" is a super gentle Strawberry Roan Paint Gelding. He is 15.3 hands tall and is 13 years old. He is suitable for beginner level riders. I have personally know this horse for over 3 years, and would highly recommend this horse to anyone who wants an easy going and super gentle horse! "Z" has been ridden on numerous Super Gentle Horses trail rides and camping trips throughout the San Tan Mountains, Bulldog Canyon, Mogollon Rim, Usery Mountain Park, and Goldfield Ghost Town. He always has been perfectly behaved on all these trail rides, he doesn't care if he is first or last in a large group. This is the kind of horse that you can not ride for 3 months, and tack him up or haul him out to a trail ride and his behavior never changes. No need to lunge or round pen him before riding. This horse has nice gaits and can be ridden English or Western. "Z" has a real quiet and laid back disposition and is most suitable as a pleasure / trail horse and for arena exercises. "Z" is a bit lazy and doesn't have much desire for speed events or to be a performance horse. He has a very slow, smooth hobby horse lope. He is well broke, picks up his leads, side passes, and backs up well. This horse is friendly and is easy to catch. He ties and stands still while bathing, clipping, grooming, shoeing, tacking up, and mounting. He loads easily and has been hauled a 3 horse slant. "Z" went to a kids birthday party last week which consisted of 25 kids and the huge blow up bounce-a-lot in a backyard. "Z" was the party pony and stood patiently for petting and gave all the kids rides. Offered to a good home only that can provide him shade since he has a light complexion and can sunburn his nose if left unprotected. He is sound and healthy and up to date on shoeing, deworming, and vaccinations. $3600
( Z man isn't quite as fat as in the 3 upper middle pictures; and his mane and tail is now much longer. - I took those photos after he had been turned out all summer on a large pasture.)

He is great on trails, and very fun to ride in the arena. I think he would make a great gaming, gymkhana, or team penning horse. Dundee is a very fast walking horse and will move out into a trot very easily. He has a super smooth slow lope, I love riding this horse! Dundee stands quietly to be bathe, groom, shoe, clip, and tack up. He is a real gentle horse but is not a dead head and needs at least a novice level rider because he is responsive. $2400

He is willing to move out into a trot or lope if asked, and is not lazy. This horse is gentle for anyone but may be too responsive for a beginner level rider; more suited for a novice rider. Justin is very quiet out on trail rides around the neighborhood and is not spooky. He is not barn or buddy sour and tries to please. Justin is a great trail horse and would make a great gymkhana / 4H prospect. He is fun to ride and is very well mannered. $2250

She is a friendly horse and very sweet.
*Daisy is not on any type of special care or medication for her knee.
"MIGHTY"
Sold
A cute Sorrel Gelding!
Mighty is 10 years old and 14.2 hands tall. He has a nice stocky confirmation and a good disposition. Mighty has been as a ranch horse his whole life and is excellent on trails. He is very well broke, has a very light neck rein and is easy to ride. He rides great in the arena, and picks up his leads. He is very quiet out on trail rides, he is not spooky. The only thing that this horse needs is just someone to love him and spend time with him. He is shy of new people and seems nervous of new people. He does stand quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, mount, and tack up. He stands tied quietly and has not pulled back. This is a great little horse for the price, he is gentle enough for a beginner level rider to ride, but I would prefer him to go to someone that knows that basics. He is excellent under saddle and tries to please. He has a very smooth slow lope, and nice gaits. $2200
*Update! Mighty went on the 3/4/2007 Trail Ride in the San Tans and was ridden by a teenage girl who is a beginner level rider. Mighty was perfectly well behaved and did great on the ride. He is sure footed in the rough terrain, and doesn't care if he is first or last in a large group. This is a really nice horse, and he's getting more friendly every day.
"JUNIOR"
Sold
A cute little horse!
A cute little Sorrel gelding with a flaxen mane & tail. 8 years old, 13.2 hands. This little horse is very well broke and easy to control. He is calm, quiet, and easy going. Fun to ride. He stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, and tack up. This horse is suitable for beginner level riders, but is not a total dead head. He's still got some get up and go when you need it. No bad habits, great trail horse, may also be a fun gaming or gymkhana horse. This little guy has been on trail rides in the San Tans with us, he has been perfectly behaved, and sure footed in the rocks. He was great in a large group, didn't care if he was first or last. Junior was with us last year when we were caught in the thunderstorm in the San Tans, he was quiet and rode great even with loud thunder and crossed the streams from the flash floods. He is really a nice horse. He is gentle enough for a beginner but may take advantage of a small or timid child. I would suggest an advanced beginner - novice level rider or someone who just has enough experience to keep him pointed in the right direction. Junior and Zip were sold last summer to a family. The kids have decided they didn't really have much of an interest in riding after all and dad's says sell them all, he's tired of taking care of them. The photo's above are from last summer, Junior does have his winter coat right now and isn't as slick as in the photos. $2200

"DRIFTER"
Sold
Buckskin gelding IBHA reg# P-19803
Drifter is a good looking Buckskin gelding that is 14.2 hands and 12 years old. I have taken extra time to evaluate this horse since he came from a friend and not from the ranch. This horse is short, but has a big hip and stocky confirmation. Drifter has been on numerous trail rides with us and always does great. He is not spooky and rides quiet in the arena and out on city trails and mountain trails. This horse is well broke, picks up his leads and has a good handle. Drifter has been roped off of and was represented to me as a rope horse. This horse is friendly, likes attention and stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, tack up and mount. I have had beginner level riders ride this horse on many occasion's with no problems, however I think this horse will try to take advantage of a timid or beginner level rider and fade to the barn. Drifter is a good all around horse, best suited for a confident rider who can keep him pointed in the right direction. $3000

7 years old, 15.2 hands. This is a real sweet horse with a good disposition. He is well broke and easy to ride. Quiet on trail rides around the neighborhood and in the arena. Stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, and tack up. I have ridden Zip a few times in the San Tan Mountains. He was very calm and quiet from the moment we unloaded to the end of the ride. He was very sure footed and good in the rocks. He handled the rugged terrain very well, never stumbled once. He was perfectly well behaved, even when caught in a storm last summer with thunder cracking around us, and getting pelted by hail! He was very trustworthy and handled the storm no problem. He easily crossed the running washes that had flooded. He did not care if he was first or last in the large group, and would walk when going up and down hills. This horse moves like a western pleasure horse, he carries his head low and has slow gaits. Zip would be a better trail horse than anything, he doesn't have much desire to anything very fast. This horse is suitable for beginner level riders. $2800

"RIO"
SOLD
Sorrel gelding 15.1 hands, 7 years old. Rio is a very sweet horse and is friendly and nice to be around. His ground manners are great, he stands quietly to groom, clip, shoe, and tack up. He is a very mellow, laid back horse and is very easy going. He rides quiet in the arena and out on trails. Walks out nice, has a little "gait" to his trot, and it takes a lot of leg to get him into a lope. He's a bit on the slow side, in my opinion he would make a better pleasure horse than performance horse. He carries his head nice and low like a western pleasure horse. $3000
"FROSTY"
Sold
Awesome trail horse!
Suitable for beginner level riders!
Gray gelding - 14 hands, 15 years old. Great confidence builder! Frosty is a really good boy, and never misbehaves. He stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, mount, and tack up. He has good ground manners and is easy to catch. Frosty is a ranch horse, has lots of cattle experience, and is excellent on trails. He is a great trail horse, calm and quiet, not spooky. He is a very easy going and has a good disposition. Frosty has went on many long rides with us, including many trail rides in the San Tan Mountains and Goldfield. Many times he was ridden by beginner level riders. He is excellent to ride, and is great in a large group or by himself. He does not care if he is first or last, and is a pleasure to ride. I was was riding Frosty when we were caught in a severe thunderstorm / hailstorm in the San Tans. He did not spook when loud thunder was cracking around us. I ended up trying to ride back when the rain hit and got separated from the rest of the group. When the rain got to heavy to ride in and turned to a hail storm, I got off and Frosty and I tried to get some relief from the hail under a tree. This is a very trustworthy horse, he couldn't have been any better during the storm. After the rain let up, he had no problems crossing the washes that had flash floods running down them. He can sit for long periods of time and does not freshen up. He rides the same every time. Suitable for beginner level riders. A great little horse, don't let his age scare you. He is sound and healthy and has no problems on long 10 miles rides in rocky terrain. $2300
"WHISKEY"
Sold
Whiskey is a real sweetheart! He is very quiet and gentle and rides great! He is 6 years old and 15 hands. He is well broke and has a great disposition. Whiskey is a friendly horse, and has great manners. He stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, and tack up. Whiskey is great on trails, and is not spooky. He is gentle for anyone, but still has some get up and go. He walks out fairly fast, and has nice gaits. Gentle enough for a beginner, but he's a fairly young horse and I would prefer to see him go to someone with a little experience that can keep him pointed in the right direction. He has no bad habits, not cinchy, never offers to do anything bad. $2650
"SHADOW"
Sold
Sorrel Mare, 14.3 hands, 7 years old.
A super gentle mare! Shadow may be a 2 for 1 package deal, she looks to be in foal! This mare is very quiet and easy going. She is a bit on the pokey side, prefers a walk/trot over faster gaits. This mare doesn't have much desire to do anything fast, so I would prefer to see her go to someone that is looking for a pleasure horse. She does walk out fast enough to stay up with the group on trail rides. She is friendly and has great ground manners. She is well broke and easy to ride. She stands quietly to groom, clip, shoe, and tack up. Stands still when you mount. Shadow has went on the trail ride in the San Tan Mountains and at Bulldog canyon with us. She was ridden by beginner level riders and was perfect. She is as quiet and as gentle as they get. She is sure footed and good in the rocks, she has no problem in steep or rocky terrain. She doesn't care if she is first or last in a group. She does just fine turned out with other horses, does not have any mare attitude. Suitable for beginner level riders. She was ridden by 13 year old Jessica who is a beginner level rider on the Bulldog Canyon ride. Jessica was a little nervous about riding horses at first, but loved riding Shadow! Shadow is a great confidence builder. She's a real sweety! $2500
"BLACK MAGIC"
Black gelding 12 Years old - 15 Hands.
I decided to keep Magic, he is showing me much potential as a performance horse!
"BUCKSHOT"
Sold
Buckskin Gelding - Excellent sure footed trail horse!
Click here for a short Video of Buckshot!
Buckshot is a 7 year old ranch broke gelding that is 15.1 hands. He is very well broke, and well mannered. This horse is my favorite horse by far to ride, he has "power steering" and has a super light neck rein. He is athletic, and picks up his leads, and does flying lead changes. This horse is broke well enough to lope through a pole pending pattern, doing flying lead changes on cue between each pole. He is as gentle as they get for a trail horse, and has been ridden by beginner level riders out on trails. I rode this horse myself through the desert, and accidentally got this horse in the cactus, he never flinched. He is sure footed and good in the rocks, doesn't care if he is first or last in a large group. He is not barn sour and will ride out by himself with no problems. This horse is friendly and likes people. He has great ground manners. He ties, clips, shoes, bathes and stands quietly. He loads easy in my stock trailer. This horse has a lot of ranch roping and cattle experience. I would feel confident putting a beginner level rider on this horse for walk / trot trail riding. However, I have taken over a month of evaluation time with this horse before listing him on the site because this horse is lazy and acts grumpy when you would ask him to move out into a lope. He did kick up a couple of times, therefore I would want an experienced rider to purchase this horse. For those of you that know me, know I'll be honest with you. I don't want to misrepresent this horse. I have the opportunity to take this horse back to the ranch if I want, but I like riding him too much to send him back. My evaluation of this horse is he is suitable for a beginner for a pleasure / trail horse, but if you plan to lope and do arena work, you should be an experienced rider in case you need to correct him. He is not cinchy, or cold backed, and does not seem to freshen up. This horse was ridden on the trail ride in the San Tans, and did go through the thunderstorm. He is not spooky at all, even from the load thunder. $3000
"PAINTED SKY"

He is suitable for beginner level riders. $2750
"MICKEY"
Sold
A nice quiet horse!
Mickey is 10 years old and is 15.1 hands tall. He is very calm, quiet, and easy going. This horse may not be flashy, but he has a great disposition and is easy to ride. He has no bad habits and stands quietly to bathe, groom, clip, and tack up. He has great ground manners. He will neck rein or direct rein, and rides great in the arena and out on trails. He is not spooky. That horse is a bit on the slow side, it takes a couple good cues to get him to move out into faster gaits. He's is probably too laid back for a performance horse, but is an excellent pleasure / trail horse. Suitable for any level rider. $2250
